SJ Townend lives in Bristol with her two children. She works as a teacher, and in her free time, writes speculative fiction and romance.  She also runs Bag of Bones, a charitable indie press.

Her first romance novel 'Pick-Up Lines' is available for pre-order NOW via Champagne Book Group and her debut dark fiction collection 'Sick Girl Screams' (Brigids Bate Press) is due for release October 2024. In 2025, Sley House Press will be publishing SJ's 2nd horror collection, 'Your Final Sunset'.
